Ted González
Founder and President

Mr. Gonzalez has over 30 years of experience as a General Contractor, Construction Manager and Entrepreneur.  He brings a rich experience base and deep relationships in the Arizona construction industry and market. As Founder and President of Gonzalez & Associates, he is directly involved in the day-to-day operations of every project to ensure quality construction and customer satisfaction.  As Vice President, Principal & Senior Project Manager of Sun Eagle Corporation (1978 - 2003), Mr. Gonzalez was responsible for over 250 projects totaling over $350 million. During his time at Sun Eagle, the corporation successfully completed and graduated from the SBA’s 8(a) Program and grew to be recognized locally and nationally as one of the top Hispanic and minority owned businesses.  The variety of projects Mr. Gonzalez oversaw while with Sun Eagle included: detention facilities, public works, military/government, residential, commercial, industrial, and educational facilities.  Mr. Gonzalez is a native Arizonan, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Operations Management and has been actively involved in past years on the boards of  community organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, the Grand Canyon Minority Supplier Development Council and the Valley of the Sun United Way.

Christina González
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Christina is responsible for leading the company’s Sales and Marketing efforts. She has over eleven years of experience in marketing and advertising working for both corporations and advertising agencies in her career. The past seven years of her career have been dedicated to focusing on the U.S. Hispanic market. She most recently served as Account Director for the Phoenix Office of Garcia360°, a San Antonio based creative communications company specializing in the Hispanic market. Prior to that, she was Director of Account Service for Arvizu Advertising & Promotions, a full-service Hispanic advertising and promotions agency. In her agency experience she was charged with developing strategic recommendations to deliver results and achieve client business goals and for managing key accounts such as The Dial Corporation, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Harrah’s Entertainment, McDonald’s, Food City Supermarkets and MasterCard International. Prior to her agency experience, Christina was employed at Anheuser-Busch Inc. in the corporation’s Marketing Department where she gained experience in the consumer packaged goods and beverage industry. Early in her career Christina also served as a Project Manager for Sun Eagle Corporation, where she gained invaluable experience and exposure to the construction industry. Christina received her MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, School of Global Management and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in business administration. She has been actively involved in the Phoenix Hispanic community and has served in leadership positions on the local boards of such organizations as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and Mujer Inc.

Ted González Jr.
Vice President of Operations

Ted Gonzalez Jr. is responsible for overseeing and supporting all field operations and personnel. He also manages and administers materials, equipment, payroll, billing and bid packages. Ted Jr. has several years of experience as a Project Manager and Coordinator. He served as an Assistant Project Manager at Sun Eagle Corporation for three years where he trained under the company’s Senior Project Managers and Superintendents, assisting with: subcontractor management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination and relations, project estimating, proposal development, management of closeout documents and project reporting systems. Ted also spent two years acting as an Event & Promotions Coordinator for Arvizu Advertising and Promotions. As an Events Coordinator, Ted’s responsibilities included event concept and design, coordinating event logistics, acquisition of all event permits, licenses, and insurance, as well as the creation of sponsor and vendor packages for such events as Phoenix’s Downtown Cinco de Mayo and the Food City Annual Tamale Festival. Ted was also charged with managing the promotional accounts of the Coors Brewing Company, Dr. Pepper Company, Wells Fargo Bank, McDonald’s and Food City Supermarkets. His responsibilities included staff and employee management, client billing, promotion scheduling and merchandising, as well as on-site account management and promotional execution. Ted Jr. graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with majors in Business, Communications, and Sociology. During his academic career Ted was also a student athlete and member of the University of Arizona baseball team
